Day 26 & 27

My mom sent me some yarn in fun colors for my hat project. Thanks mom! I am enjoying these bright and cheerful hats. Mr. Hugglesworth’s hat came out in a really cool spiral pattern and Brownie is wearing an autism awareness colored hat just in time for autism awareness month!

Day 24 & 25

Brownie is having a little identity crisis. This bunny hat took me two days to complete. The pattern is by the blogger, Repeat Crafter Me, who always has amazing patterns. This one came with numerous sizing and a matching diaper cover. It wasn’t a difficult pattern but a lot of sewing (for me) and after all that hard work I realized I sewed an ear on upside down. Oh well, some baby will just be a unique bunny.

Day 22 & 23

The car applique ended up really large even after I used a smaller hook. Thank goodness it still fit on the hat. For today I didn’t make a hat, instead I made a mini blanket out of the softest yarn I’ve ever worked with. Bernat Pipsqueak! It has the same issues that all fuzzy or eyelash yarn does so I will only use it in one of two patterns, but it is so incredibly soft that I do enjoy working with it. This blanket was made using the standard granny stitch and ended up being about 2′ x 2′. Brownie is one cozy bear.
